Common Questions
-

Why don't you accept insurance?
Traditional practices that rely on payments from insurance companies are require providers to see 20+ patients daily—spending less than 10 minutes with each one. As a result of our membership-based practice, we can offer longer visits and will remember who you are—something that insurance companies simply don’t value.
-

What is the difference between Direct Primary Care and Concierge Medicine?
Although concierge practices charge a membership fee, they also bill for each visit and patient’s are required to pay copays. This means that you have to either see a doctor who is in-network or be willing to pay cash for each visit. Since we don’t charge extra for appointments, we can accept members of ANY insurance plan.
-

Do I still need health insurance?
Membership in our practice is not a substitute for health insurance. Patients should still maintain health insurance to help pay for any lab testing, imaging, specialist care, and/or hospitalization costs.
-

Is it still worth it if I don't "use it enough"?
Have you ever waited for hours in an urgent care because your illness couldn’t wait 2 weeks to be evaluated? With membership in our practice you have the peace of mind that only immediate access provides.

*Membership is billed either monthly, quarterly, or annually.
